Get to your retirement destination with confidence.
If you want to take control of your financial life, the Retirement Flight Plan may be just what you need.
How the Retirement Flight Plan Process Works
Discovery Visit (45 – 60 minutes)
Complete Discovery process addressing your goals and concerns.
We will review your current:
- Income Plan
- Investment Plan
- Tax Plan
- Healthcare/Medicare Plan
- Legacy Plan
When you come for a visit, we will ask you to bring and share complete copies of the following items:
- All Brokerage and Investment Statements
- All IRA and Retirement Statements
- All Life Insurance and Annuity Policy Statements or Ledgers
- Social Security Statements from SSA.gov
As a Fiduciary firm, we have an obligation to get a full picture of your retirement situation. Statements are the only way we can gather 100% accurate details. Without complete statements, we cannot provide quality analysis or advice.
We’ll sit down to discuss what you are hoping to accomplish. Then, we will ask you to complete the Money Management Questionnaire, which helps us understand more clearly what specifically bothers you about controlling your money. We will also work together to uncover your risk tolerance using our Risk Profile Questionnaire and Financial Stress Test.
After the meeting, we'll send you a synopsis of our time together and a homework assignment of any additional information we may need to complete your proposed Flight Plan.
Portfolio Review and Mutual Commitment Visit (45 – 60 minutes)
First, we’ll review your Risk Profile Questionnaire and compare the results of your Stress Test to your current financial portfolio’s Risk Profile. This is often where we identify areas for improvements. We will continue by looking at the following:
- Risk Analysis
- Cost Analysis
- Income Analysis
- Social Security Analysis
- Annuity Analysis
Next, we’ll show you our suggested Flight Plan strategy for you. We want you to feel comfortable and confident in your decision to move forward, so we will ask you two questions before taking any further action:
- Do you feel that working with our firm would benefit you?
- Would you like our help?
If you answer “yes” to both questions, together we will begin transferring your assets over to our firm.
Plan Review and Implementation Visit (30 – 45 minutes)
Together, we will review the status of the transferred assets and make sure everything is on schedule. We’ll confirm we have recorded proper beneficiary designations. We will also discuss allocation and confirm the various investment platforms, explaining the purposes of each.
- Income Plan
- Investment Plan
- Advanced Planning (Tax, Healthcare, Legacy)
By the end of this meeting, your Flight Plan will become active!
Recurring Client Experience Reviews (30 – 45 minutes)
After your Flight Plan launches, we’ll continue to stay in touch and monitor any necessary updates needed along the way. We’ll decide whether we should meet quarterly, semi-annually or annually to review your plan and make your retirement vision a reality.
- Reiterate Structure
- Reiterate Expectations
- Review Accounts
- Review Statements and Websites
